Building a RV From a 12ft Box Truck.

Hello! I am going to walk you through the beginning and hopefully, one day the end of my box truck RV build.

My previous van was a 2000 Ford E-350 7.3L diesel 4×4 extended van. I had for 5 years or so. It lasted a good while, and decided it had enough at 400k miles on the clock.

I would have kept it going, but it was 22 years old, and I’ve always wanted a box truck RV. A single rear wheel box truck is the same width as a regular van, 6’6″ interior height, 12ft of interior length, and best of all, straight walls!

I purchased this 2014 Ford E-350 SRW Box Truck from Signature Truck Center in Crystal Lake, IL. for $18,500. It has 140k miles and was in “fair” shape.

The first thing I was planning on doing was going through the entire van and checking all the fluids, filters, and everything I needed to make sure this van was in the best running condition I can get it in.
